Tom Cheshire
Tom is married to Jan Cheshire and it will be 27 years this December. We have two daughters Amelia 22 and Lindleigh 20, both are full time students at UIS. We have lived in the Springfield area since 1990 and currently live in Williamsville. Jan has been a stay at home mother and homeschooled both girls and is now working a few days a week outside the home. Jan also has a heart to help women who either would like to stay home or get their family budgets tightened up by helping them plan and shop strategically for their meals. Tom is an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and loves watching them on TV or at the new Busch stadium. Tom and Jan both enjoy reading and camping. We enjoy traveling as a family when we can and love the sandy beaches of Florida as our favorite vacation destination!
Tom and Jan are both active in Delta Church. Tom has been involved in men’s ministry both on the church and community level. Tom was one of the founders of Business Men In Christ which was formed in June of 2003 and was the President of that ministry until January 2009 when he stepped down to dedicate more of his attention to Relevant Practical Ministry for Men (RPM). Tom founded RPM in Jan of 2007 and is active on the local, state and national level with ministries and resources that supply the needs of pastors and men to help them disciple men in their churches.
Tom was employed in corporate aviation for 26 years and left that career in September 2002 and started his new career in insurance in the winter of 2003. Tom joined the Goodenow agency in Jan 2004 and enjoys providing great customer service with the quality insurance companies the Goodenow Agency carries for its clients.
Tom is dedicated to serving his clients and the clients of the Goodenow Agency with great enthusiasm and seeking to give our clients a quality product at an affordable cost.
